The Government of Samoa continues to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening its Public-Private Partnership through supporting and recognizing the ongoing development efforts of the Manufacturing and Export Sector, in the form of a Grant to the value of $10,000.00 to the Samoa Association of Manufacturers and Exporters (SAME) for their Exports Awards Program.
On Friday 6 th June 2025, the Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour, Hon. Leatinuu Wayne Sooialo, presented SAME with the Export Awards Grant for this FY 2024/25. In his speech, the Honourable Minister thanked the local manufacturers and exporters for their significant contribution to the development of Samoa’s economy, as well as the Association for their “ongoing support and dedication in strengthening the manufacturing and export sectors as vital engines of Samoa’s economic prosperity.”
The Honourable Minister concluded his speech by acknowledging the collaborations between the Government and the Private Sector, encouraging for strong public-private partnerships going forward and wishing the Association well in their preparations for future Exports Awards.
