The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour announces the successful conclusion of the 1st Working Group Meetings for the National Industry Development Policy & Strategy (NIDPS), held last Wednesday and Thursday.

This follows the Implementation Coordination Meeting held earlier last month. The sessions included more than 50 participants from the Innovation, Diversification and Partnerships for Industry Development (IDPID) and Infrastructure, Services and Skilled Labour Force (ISSLF) Working Groups, concentrating on furthering the NIDPS implementation for the fiscal years 2024/25 to 2033/34.

The meetings provided a crucial platform for technical discussions, aligning priorities, and fostering collaboration among the implementing agencies, Conversations focused on enhancing workplans, identifying immediate actions, and clarifying the role of each agency in promoting Samoa’s key industries.

These Working Group Meetings drive NIDPS toward concrete results, ensuring a unified and effective approach to industry growth.

Thank you to all stakeholders for your active participation. We look forward to meeting you all again in October this year. Let’s build a resilient and sustainable Samoa together.
