EIGHT Welders Underwent Grade 1 Trade Testing Scheme.
The Apprenticeship, Employment and Labor Market Division held a Trade Testing Scheme Grade 1 for Welding and Fabrication last week at the National University of Samoa.
This program aimed to evaluate the skills of our local tradesmen and officially recognized their expertise. The initiative included an upgrading class for eight tradesmen, a Theory test on the 24th April and a practical test on April 26th. Completing this test will earn the tradesmen a Trade Test Certificate, boosting their chances for employment and career advancement in the Welding and Fabrication Industry.
Our commitment is to support the growth of skilled tradesmen in Samoa, cultivating workforce that contributes to the national economic well-being. This initiative aligns with the government’s focus on acknowledging and certifying skilled workers, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to meet industry standards and contribute to Samoa’s infrastructure and development.
